Editing Rates
I offer three levels of editing services: simple, moderate, and extreme.
Simple: if all you need is another set of eyes for last-minute proofreading, to catch errors Spellcheck/Grammar Check missed, this is the level you want.
Moderate: For work that needs technical correction, matched up to a stylesheet, checked for internal consistency, and light fact-checking, this is the best option.
Extreme: Anything involving citation, bibliography, and footnote formatting, extensive fact-checking, research, or serious editing.

Contracts
I require a signed and dated contract, spelling out the work to be done, the payment for the work, the date by which complete work to be edited will be furnished to me, and the date I will be done with the work, for ALL editing jobs before beginning any work. I also require half the estimated cost of the job, up front; this is non-refundable unless I fail to provide the work agreed to under the contract.
Client cancellation of the contract will not result in advance monies being refunded.
